Multipor Mineral Insulation Systems

Application method:

Surfaces to be clean and dry with all friable or loose parts removed.

Bond insulation panel (600mm x 300mm) to substrate using 4mm coat of Ecomortar R100. Allow to cure.

Shape insulation panel if desired.

Apply 6mm coat of Ecomortar R100 as render coat. Protect from adverse weather conditions until fully cured.

External render must be protected with either a breathable mineral paint or by a 5mm coating of Ecomortar WP precoloured lime render which gives a maintenance free finish.

Painting : when the surface is uniformly dry, apply a waterproofed lime paint or mineral paint. Waterproofed decorative coatings should not be film forming, impeding breathability.

Guarantee : 10 years Manufacturer’s guarantee (replacement of faulty materials). When applied by Certified Contractors
The guarantee will also cover application costs.

Environmental profile: once hardened the mortars are recyclable or disposable as landfill. They are not toxic and do not contain cement,VOC,PFA,GGBS or radioactive materials. Will not contaminate water or soil and will not deteriorate timber.

MINERAL INSULATION SYSTEMS

MULTIPOR
Air permeable, hydrophobic and inert, it will not deteriorate or deform in the presence of moisture ensuring stability and durability (over 50 years).
Highly resistant to fire (Class A1) : it is not combustible.
In conjunction with Ecomortar R100 mortars, condensation is eliminated, hence reducing the energy requirements to provide adequate heating.
